Subho Nobo Borsho

Bengali new year (Subho Nobo Borsho) is being celebrated today on April 15, 2010. The day is being celebrated across West Bengal especially and also by Bengali people across the globe. People worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Luxmi on this day. People celebrate this day with rangolis and making sweets at home.

This year also marks the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.
